Daffodils above and a Plum tree below. The winter without a winter is followed by the warmest March ever. Everything is at least a month ahead of normal.

Money can’t buy this kind of lovely surprise.
It is like an unexpected vacation, a fair-weather gift.
Such great composition in both pictures!
The top one is so telling. The daffodils seem to be laughing at the wood burner.
I love the bottom photo ~ such a plump bouquet of blossoms, with the driveway veering around it.
You captured so much in the two photographs.
And so much for your extra warm over-all review. Maybe next year.
C’est la vie!
We’ve been getting abnormal amounts of rain lately. 4-5 inches at a time. Kinda scared of the tornado season. From an all out drought to flooding the local lakes…..this last summer was brown and burnt and the lakes were in real bad shape, and ranchers were selling parts of their herds just to survive. After reading Your blog for a while, I begin to realize the genetic loss these folks have suffered. Different climates, to be sure, and different animals, but the genetic work of developing livestock is a real investment. Thanks for your blog, it’s a real experience.
Thank you for the comments and compliments!
